At an upcoming auction hosted by Bring-A-Trailer, the unveiling of a 1988 Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV is scheduled to be showcased to collectors. This iteration shows one of the most well-preserved examples of the defining 80s supercar.
This custom iteration was originally delivered in October 1987 and remained within the original owner’s family until 2024. The Lamborghini’s exterior is adorned in a menacing Nero Tenebre paint which complements a matching Nero leather interior. The aggressive aesthetic of the cars body is maintained by signature notes featuring iconic scissor doors, pop-up headlights, and a V-shaped rear wing. Finishing for the exterior is the staggered-width 15-inch Ruote OZ wheels finished in gold. The interior’s premium touches start at the cabin with a gated shifter, a leather-wrapped Raid steering wheel, and an Alpine AM/FM cassette stereo.
Powering the Countach 5000 QV is a Bizzarrini-designed 5.2-liter quad-cam V12 engine. Power is managed by a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car comes from an illustrious history as it has been awarded the 2025 Greenwich Concours de Sport, further validating its condition.
The 1988 Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV was opened for bidding via Bring a Trailer.
