Event| Giorgetti Hosts A Special Evening At Their NYC Atelier for NYC Design Week

Over the weekend, renowned design house Giorgetti opened their atelier doors in the heart of New York City, for a special private evening to showcase their latest signature pieces and most recent choices from their collaboration with Maserati. With a special invitation, we had the honor to visit their penthouse location with special rooftop access that showcased the brilliant NYC skyline while being impressively close to Rockefeller Center building.

The Ming River Sichuan Baijiu sponsored evening was fueled by the special collection of designs from Giorgetti’s extensive catalog of interior decor pieces that adorn rooms from the kitchen to the bedroom and everything in between. As the elevator doors open, inside the NYC Atelier you are greeted by a dim-lit elegantly placed space while walking up to Giorgetti x Maserati’s Nereo foosball table that’s highlighted by an overhead spotlight. As you walk around the entrance setup, you are greeted by multiple rooms adorned with Giorgetti furniture and to the left a kitchen full re-imagined in Giorgetti pieces. A specialized drink from the kitchen is offered and the walk through begins as the Giorgetti x Maserati series appears almost immediately. You are met by coveted newly introduced pieces such as the Fragmentum table, the Move limited edition rocking-chair, the Shirley bench and a series of accessories that played centerpieces on the Fragmentum table.

As we journeyed further into the full floored space, rooms are devised into real-life living spaces, meet with a bed-room, dining room, meeting space and more. Each room sports special pieces from the collections of Giorgetti and are meant for guests to experience the materials, design style and overall aesthetic that Giorgetti offers. The in-door walk-through provides a calm ambiance fueled by luxury and futuristic designs that are pushing the design envelope while maintaining a consistency of expectation. Added pieces that caught our eye included the burnt orange Karphi modular sofas, the wooden framed Hug armchair, a customized Frame bed, the Miyabi wardrobe and many other pieces from their collection.

The coveted Maserati collaboration took center stage of the display as we gained some great insights on the series and viewed several pieces across the space. Featured pieces from the collaboration included the Lorelei armchair and sofa, the Nereide sofa, the Neomeris rug and more. The collection is instantly noticeable as essence of Maserati is injected into the design of each piece. The renowned design aesthetic of the Maserati car is now met with the design ethos of Giorgetti which makes for a creative collection of futuristic choices that are steeped in comfort.

The evening moved from indoors to outdoors as we ventured to the rooftop location that was equipped with a full bar offering more Ming River drinks and hosted by a DJ who provided a great musical selection as guests enjoyed the outdoor Giorgetti collection. Signature ‘open-air’ pieces properly placed around the rooftop included the Moorea sofa and armchairs, the Nisida rugs, and the Kromis table accessories.

Giorgetti’s Design Week Showcase is still open at the New York City Atelier until May 20th. Many pieces from the collection are now available and open for customizing via Giorgetti’s webstore.
