Design| A Walk-through Of The New Cinematic Hotel Bus Palladium In Paris

In the heart of Paris’ 9th arrondissement fueled by a vibrant Pigalle neighborhood, is a newly constructed Hotel Bus Palladium, a five-star boutique hotel & retro-themed nightclub. Commissioned for the re-construction is the renowned design house Studio KO who was tasked with excavating 14 meters underground to develop a 12-level complex with four hidden levels underground which houses the 200-capacity club.

Chic, welcoming and creative are a few focus words used in the design plans for the development that ambitiously is set out to be a modern replica of New York’s Chelsea Hotel. The exterior of the venue boosts retro details such as the neon red signage atop of the concrete discreet geometric patterns paying homage to a classic era. The interior delivers a cinematic, high-end and contrasting aesthetic that tributes the heritage of the venue and culture of the community. A brutalist design base is fueled by thick concrete walls and metal grating ceilings which are softened by retro touches like powder-pink carpeting, Lynchian red velvet drapery, and corduroy curtains. The hotel boasts 35 uniquely constructed rooms and suites that further the details of design by Studio KO. 1960’s is the era that is showcased in the Marcel Proust’s famous noise-canceling bedrooms alongside the retro bespoke curiosities.

A step into the past is offered along with top tier hospitality at the newly Studio KO designed Paris Hotel Bus Palladium which you can inquire about booking via their webstore.
