The Nike Mind 001 slide has become a social staple for comfort and quick and on the move design, so Nike continues their momentum with yet another eye-grasping colorway. Dubbed the “Hemp” release, this color scheme is by far the calmest yet playing into the warmer weather and playful summer seasons.
The colorway is by far the highlight of the release, as the silhouette maintains much of it’s signature features such as the 22-node underfoot platform, continuous perforations across the top and side panels and of course the renowned slip-on design itself. Past releases often seen a mix color palette applied to the slip-on as the body would be tonal but the node’s underneath would consist of a contrasting color-choice but for the “Hemp” series, the full shoe is consistent in the soft-pink peachy tone applied. With almost the entirety of the slip-on thriving in one single color, there is a subtle color contrast with the small metallic silver Swooshes on the forefoot and side. The “Hemp” is the most settled the silhouette has looked: a colorway that does not need to explain itself.
The Nike Mind 001 ‘Hemp’ series is offered at $95 USD and is expected to be released later this year while warmer weather is still around.
