Footwear| New Balance Celebrates Kith With The Re-Release of Their First Ever “2011” Silhouette

Kith‘s own Ronnie Fieg teams up with New Balance to re-introduce their first-ever collaborative silhouette, the 2011, as a part of a full 15th anniversary collection release. The name marks the year and era in which Kith was established and the silhouette plays as the center-piece in the release which is a part of the new opening of New Balance at Kith, which is taking over the first floor of the Kith West Hollywood flagship.

The 2011’s are a product of Ronnie Fieg and New Balance’s designer Sam Pearce, who together took two years to craft but the results introduced an intricate multi-panel construction that adorned the upper. For the special celebration release, four colorways are offered across two distinct material choices. The “Bark” and “Redwood” are constructed from premium boot leather with tonal canvas underlays and tree ring-inspired topstitching. “Leaf” and “Sakura” take a color-blocked approach, combining premium micro-pinched underlays with pigskin suede panels. Each rendition is packaged with custom printed footbeds and three additional lace options.

The 2011 releases alongside a wider Kith & New Balance 15th Anniversary apparel and accessories collection comprising re-imagined technical jackets, shorts, mesh jerseys, and headwear. The release consist of varying release dates for the different variations of the Kith x New Balance 2011’s. The Bark and Redwood colorways of the 2011 are exclusive to New Balance at Kith available June 26 at New Balance at Kith. The Leaf and Sakura colorways of the 2011 will release Monday, June 29 at all US Kith stores, Kith Toronto, and online at 11 a.m. EST online.
