Australian-born, New York-based artist CJ Hendry, continues her global art takeover. CJ crafts expressions through technical abilities, imaginative installations, and unconventional approach to presenting contemporary art. Maintaining this momentum, CJ introduces the Juju Mega, a new series of oversized plush collectibles arriving in ten distinct colorways.
At the center of the new release is the cult-classic character that has become increasingly recognizable within Hendry’s artistic universe. The soft, rabbit-like figure that has become infamous because of it’s by exaggerated drooping ears, rounded proportions, and a leather flower over the eye look. With Juju Mega, Hendry expands the character into a larger collectible format. The new release introduces ten different colorways, allowing the familiar silhouette to take on a variety of visual personalities. While the fundamental design remains consistent, each color changes the way the character is perceived. However, softer shades emphasize its comforting, nostalgic qualities. More expressive colors introduce a playful sense of individuality.
This latest release introduces something particularly significant. For the first time, Hendry’s Juju collectibles will become available through a dedicated global online drop. This choice will allow enthusiasts outside her physical installations to participate in the experience. Before the digital launch, the artist will return to Hong Kong for a four-day pop-up running October 28–31, 2026, transforming a location in Central into a whimsical lavender-colored environment. The global online release will follow on November 1, introducing a limited blind-box format priced at $79 USD.
The online drop launches November 1 at 7 p.m. EST via CJ Hendry Studio. Each collectible comes in a dustbag, with the broader presentation also incorporating a metal tin, fold-out “map” poster featuring all 10 variations and stickers. The Hong Kong Juju Mega pop-up runs from October 28 – 31 at 2–8 Wellington Street in Central.
