Heiando walks us through the process of urushi, the traditional lacquer products that date back 9,000 years. Ishikawa Prefecture craftsman carve the wood, polish and paint all by hand. Designing some of the greatest products that hold tradition and modern style together. Micro brushes are used with gold painting to finish off fine pieces such as bowls, boxes and coasters.
