For aspiring journalist, world travelers, food-enthusiast and just people of positive energy, we join them in the heart-break of losing one of media’s leading spokespeople. Early this morning, according to CNN, Anthony Bourdain has passed at the age of 61. The renown foods-smith was found early this morning in his France hotel room by Chef Eric Ripert unresponsive. According to sources at CNN this was death by suicide. Anthony built a honorable career of doing as he put it “Whatever The F*ck He Wanted” by traveling the globe, eating at the most exotic foods, prepared by the best chefs.
This lost hits home for us at G.O.O.D Garbs and across the world as the love, pain, and appreciation of this journalistic rock-star. Cnn stated today stating the following:
“It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain. His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller. His talents never ceased to amaze us and we will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly difficult time.”
