Renown British luxury car-maker Bentley, has unveiled their latest pursuit to expand their Collections portfolio in their Mulliner-series. This first special edition is the perfect addition to Bentley’s illustrious collections.
The British-based brand focused their latest rendition on the high-performing Continental GT Convertible with design inspiration from equestrians. The direct correlation is specifically tied to the Cheltenham Festival, dubbed by the company as “the most exhilarating and prestigious event of the horse racing calendar.” Powered by Bentley’s own massive 6.0-liter W12 engine, the GT can make 0-60mph in just 3.7 seconds. It’s finished in a specifically commissioned green shade named Spruce, and replacing the usual chrome hardware such its exhaust pipes and grille is a gloss black coating for a more sleek and aggressive look. Black 22-inch Mulliner Driving Specification wheels then round off the vehicle.
Changing focused to the interior, the roof-less vehicle maintains the equestrian theme with features such as a horse and rider silhouettes on the headrests, while other parts of the cabin receives a highly luxurious makeover, such as gold detailing the Walnut veneers as well as boxwood inlays, and Bentley’s iconic diamond quilting constructed with premium Tweed fabric.
There’s no pricing information yet on the Bentley Mulliner Equestrian Edition Continental GT Convertible, but expect it to be significantly higher than the usual Continental GT price of £151,800 GBP (roughly $200,000 USD).
