Takahiro Miyashita-helmed label, TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. teams with footwear design powerhouse Converse on their latest rendition of the CX Disrupt sneaker in both a black and white silhouette.
This campaign showcased the Takahiro owned label give Converse a makeover with various house symbols such as “I AM THE SOLOIST” branding on the triangular rubber mid-panel tab to “HELLO! I AM THE SOLOIST. Converse’s branding is much more minimal with a tonal star-emblem patch on the medial side and embossed into the extruding sole unit at the rear. Each pair of the newly designed Converse’s features a tonal rubberized toe cap and a matching eyestay component. To finish off this rendition is a set of complementing rope laces.
The sneaker is set to release at retailers such as END. on March 12 for $155 USD each.
