U.S. Women’s Open and Jorand brand team together to present a limited edition rendition of the AJ1 G dubbed the “Wave” in support of the outstanding career and achievements of Michelle.
Catering to the “Wave” concept, the most prominent on the Swooshes, while the high-top segment of the Jordan 1 is further dedication to Wie West given her firm appreciation for this silhouette throughout her career. This rendition features a number of personal touches, including Wie West’s daughter’s initials placed on the right tongue tab and the word “Mom” in Korean on the left. Additionally, a removable ball marker adorns the laces which reads “Just Do It” in English and Korean and “Aloha” can be found on the outsoles, referencing the golfer’s Korean and Hawaiian heritage.
