Design| Anti Public Library is Paris’ New Book & Vinyl Store-Bar

In the heart of Paris’ Le Marais district, the hub for French artists and the art community, a rare bookstore and bar has surfaced. Dubbed Anti-Public Library, the new boutique-style location plays as an art bookstore and vinyl shop dedicated to many areas in art history.

Lead by artist Henri Levy, this must-stop destination is fueled by classic artworks which adorn the walls, stool-based bar and a dark wooden aesthetic that is just magical for book lovers and vinyl collectors. The Anti Public Library’s bar is stocked with natural wines, Japanese sake and artisan coffee while also serving Russian caviar served with créme fraiche and potato chips. The book collection is comprised of series of classical reads and many printed goods. The vinyl collection is as unique and rare as the venue itself, with signature original pressings of post punk, industrial, shoegaze and new wave.
