Sitting on 25-acres in the hills of Long Beach, Washington, is the newly promoted campsite by Japanese-based brand Snow Peak. Known as the “outdoor lifestyle creator” and popularized by their high-quality materials ranging from titanium to fire-resistant aramid fabric, Snow Peak unveils their campsite, dubbed the “Campfield”, that features a trio of accommodations and lodging.
The trio: “Jyubakos” micro cabins designed by the famed architect Kengo Kuma, pre-built “Tent Suites” and from-the-ground-up “Field Sites”, make up the 25-acre get-a-way location developed to mesh luxury and nature. The Jyubakos cabins are the truest extent of luxury in this project with queen-sized bed, private bathroom and kitchenette. Built for bathe patrons with nature, the boxy design offers plenty of natural light and is built to accommodate two adults and two children. For a more authentic camping experience, Snow Peak Campfield offers their “Tent Suite”. When arriving, campers will encounter a complete Snow Peak campsite set up fully finished with tents, tables, fireplaces and grill tables. For a more DIY approach, the campsite offers the “Field Sites” which allows visitors to choose the tents and accouterments they need for their group, then set everything up themselves.
Snow Peak did not remise the opportunity to place a ‘Campstore‘ at the centerpiece of the sites which plays as a store and lounge location offering beverage bar and selection of Snow Peak goods available for purchase. A seasonal touch is the “Ofuro Spa,” which is a spin on the traditional Japanese hot-springs.
Summer and Fall reservations have begun to open up for available booking to the ‘Campfiled’ and in July, the Jyubakos cabins will become available. For booking and pricing information head to the Snow Peak website. as well.
