Cars| Nardone Introduces ‘The Future of 928’ Porsche Restomod Series

France-based automotive restoration and design brand Nardone unveils their latest project with their reimagined version of the Porsche 928. Not just a simple touch up, this reinvention of the classic grand tourer defies the norms of any restoration.

Dubbed the Nardone 928, considered the underdog rendition of Porsche’s prestigious collection, the 928 is one that true car lovers have come to truly appreciate. Nardone’s touches to the reworked vehicle includes 3,000 newly designed parts all formed with a focus to enhance the performance and embrace the design. The beating heart to this beast is the aspirated 5.0L V8 engine, producing 450 hp and 385 lb-ft of torque, managed by a Motec ECU. The custom designed six-speed gearbox is paired with the powertrain producing around 200 unique components.

Notes from the exterior designs include a carbon fiber marvel, which highlights the lightweight engineering with high power performance. Nardone crafted a new axels which widened the cars stance for more stability while also developing active electronic suspension for quicker ratio power steering. The interior of the car cabin is minimalistic in design yet modern in compatibility. For example, the dashboard is free of unneeded distractions, giving sight simply to the speedometer. Meanwhile, there are touches like a custom high-resolution audio system with 11 speakers which modernizes the car’s appeal.

The price tag is marked at a humbling  $525,093 USD, assuming their will be limited editions available. More details on The Nardone 928 can be viewed at their main website.
