Design| Here Is an In-Depth Look into Lemaire’s Tokyo Flagship Store

Lemaire is a high-end fashion brand that has recently expanded to Japan with the placement of their newly opened flagship store nestled in Tokyo. Tucked away in a 1960s private residence which is equipped with a zen garden and quaint amenities. The once Japanese home has been renovated to a fashion lounge providing elegance and style to this Ebisu neighborhood of Shibuya.

“We chose this house to underscore the natural connection between our collections and a domestic atmosphere. Our pieces are crafted for everyday living and designed with the allegory of a perfectly proportioned home as a protective shelter in mind.” – Lemaire visionaries Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran shared.

The two-story building is covered in traditional Japanese plaster while Sudare bamboo blinds harmoniously exist with Lemaire’s signature fixtures. The living room features the Freud couch, three vintage kilim rugs, handwoven wadded panels or abac mats that cover the first floor. Those in the area can now visit the Japanese flagship store in Ebisu, Tokyo.
