Influential photographer Ricky Shoebio continues to expand his influence and aesthetic across an array of artistic genres and industries alike, all while staying present and apart of major events, festivals, walkways and even community endeavors. Founder of the creative consulting agency The Byg Kyds, Ricky continues to become a staple for capturing signature moments in art, music and more. With recent announcements like becoming Community Artists for NJ Monuments to Migration and Labor alongside partnerships with JetBlue for Juneteenth installations, Ricky has been busy to say the least. His latest placement on the #BILDEXPO by B&H photo further solidified his infamy in the Photography world.

For BrownMill Company‘s 4th Annual Block Party, the New Jersey based fashion house has become renowned in the city of Newark for their annual celebration. Apart of the 2025 activation, the brand reached out to local brands and community organizations to produce experiences for patrons to enjoy. A city organization by the name #TakeCareofNewark teamed with the renowned photographer to capture moments of the block party. Themed to utilize the natural aesthetic provided by Newark’s Halsey Street section, Shoebio produced a cropped natural backdrop and repurposed products like the drape and chair. Teamed with the city organization, Ricky allowed patrons of the block party to sit and partake in the experience.

Ricky Shoebio came equipped with a Sony Alpha a7r V + Tamron Americas 35-150mm f2-2.8 Di III VXD as his choice of lens for the day. After a few hours of visitors, Ricky retreated to edit the images that were presented in a monochromatic presentation making each image slightly more dramatic but also timeless. Prepared, set arranged and shot all by Ricky Shoebio, this set of classic themed images are yet another example of his brilliance behind the lens.
