There is a traditional Japanese art form called Kintsugi, which repairs broken pottery with gold to highlight imperfections, and to pay homage Nike teams with NIGO for the “Kintsugi” Pack celebrating the beauty of flaws.
For ths celebration collection, two distinct designs are featured in the capsule series which features contrasting textures and tones. Each pair has a signature appeal and name, one pair is the soft phantom white and beige, while the other combines phantom white with marbled dark grey. Gold accents are a signature part of Kintsugi and are brilliantly placed as a divider on both pairs of sneakers, separating the clean all white design from the eye-grasping colorways. Similar to previous releases, the Nike x NIGO Air Force 3 lows have a unique heel tab, with one marked “NIGO” and the other “OGIN.”
With no confirmed release date just yet, the NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 Low “Kintsugi” Pack is anticipated to launch during the upcoming Holiday season.
