Brooklyn’s own, Young M.A. has resurfaced with an Autumn anthem for long nights and early mornings called “Thumperz“. In true M.A. fashion, Young M.A delivers a hook-less hit that showcases the lyricism M.A. has become renowned for.
Witty wordplay, aggressive production and a demeanor that yells “Brooklyn” is the recipe that M.A trust when it comes to cooking up re-playable records. Anthems tend to be how Young M.A influences Hip-Hop from the early “You call her Stephanie, I call her Heffanie” bar that sent Young M.A’s name viral. “Thumperz” offers that same energy but leans on knowledge from the hard knocks and rough circumstances made better through consistency and chasing the opportunities. To aid the release, M.A recruits director kingnamedsol for a dim-lite visual that portrays the mood and aesthetic of the Mike Zombie production. Surrounded by day-ones, friends and family, the visual utilizes Brooklyn landmarks and expensive cars to be the perfect backdrop for the single’s official video.
With no set date for a major release, we are extremely happy to see Young M.A. on the music scene and will keep you posted on upcoming releases.
