Zodiac based campaigns continue to be a theme for major brands and for VANS, this was the perfect chance to collaborate with BILLY’S to deliver their latest skater loafer. Celebrating the “Year of The Horse“, the design tandem craft up a short range of loafer designs that add a stylish aesthetic to the skater world.
The collaboration unveils two renditions of the Skate Loafer that is offered in brown and black and is accompanied by a specialized apparel capsule. BILLY’S presents their renowned asymmetrical design touches to the multi-fabric footwear which consist of suede, pony hair and soft leather. The sophisticated skater shoe showcases brilliant contrast meeting functionality all while housing subtle features such as the detachable tassels that accompany each pair. Outside the footwear itself, BILLY’S and Vans also present a pair of reversible MA–1 vests that is influenced by the racing spirit and the military aesthetics. The vests front is crafted from a soft satin while the reverse side is a custom diamond pattern that supports the “horse” zodiac celebration.
The VANS x BILLY’S Skater Loafer and vests campaign is now available via BILLY’S with the loafers priced at ¥14,300 JPY (approx. $90 USD).
