Montreal’s skate label Dime has teamed w/ renowned timepiece design brand Timex for a new badass concept to a classic silhouette. Utilizing the classical design of the T80, the tandem takes to the design studio to deliver a bold rock-inspired makeover. The team refrained from changing the actual timepiece, instead Dime fused the classic look with a more punk-leaning touch of a heavy-metal, studded aesthetic.
The collaborative T80 boasts a 34mm stainless-steel case that is a perfect match to the striking studded stainless-steel bracelet that gives the watch a look unlike any other. The entire offering also includes an additional strap option for anyone looking to switch things up. The replacement option is an extra natural leather strap adorned with silver studs, which gives a more aggressive look to the piece. The digital display sports a black mask which highlights the co-branding of Timex and Dime detailing. The classic nature of the timepiece is still evident with the placement of the chronograph, daily alarm, month/day/date display, and Timex’s signature INDIGLO® backlight.
The Dime x Timex T80 set is officially scheduled to launch on April 11th at 1:00 PM EST and can be found via Dime, the physical Dime Flagship store and on Timex.
