S-Klub LA & Mercedes-Benz have joined forces and teamed up with Drake for a one-of-one custom 1999 Mercedes-Benz G-Class Safari Edition. The personalized iteration of the G Wagon silhouette is now remodeled with an open-air safari build. Added is the detailed features to match the desired styling of Drake.
The Car is crafted by the design team at S-Klub LA who decided to utilize a rare 1999 Europa-imported G500 for the base of the car. Brilliantly, the standard enclosed roof is removed creating a unique two-door open-air safari design. Adding to the safari theme, the roof is wrapped in a custom-engineered steel roof rail system along with an integrated tubular roll cage framing the exposed cabin. Custom features for the Toronto rapper include the bold custom “ICEMAN” lettering branded on the top rack, paying homage to Drake’s latest album. Making the collaborated customization extremely noticeable is the replacement of the renowned Mercedes-Benz three point emblem with the now gold-accented OVO owl badge. Of course the interior gains a custom remodeling with custom leather upholstery, tailored floor trim, and handcrafted interior accents.
