Early beginnings of OBEY consisted of fresh finds that were stylish but also comfortable. The California-based brand has championed the fusion of vibrant and relaxed fabrics and tones in the streetwear space. The brand maintains the brand ideology with their Fall/Winter 2023 capsule collection.
As the cooler weather approaches, OBEY delivers a series of cool and warm tones for the upcoming Fall season. Colorways that are highlighted throughout the capsule include shades of cobalt, brown and fern and are matched with fabric selections like silk, fuzzy features and cotton. Detailed pieces that are both branded and well design are OBEY’s signature puffers, varsity jackets, thick overshirt style jackets, fleece jackets and workwear jackets. Additionally, the brand adds to the collection with knitwear, which is always a strong suit for the brand.
Focusing on tops, OBEY offers a series of stylish striped rugby-style long-sleeve polo shirts, striped button-down shirts, checked flannels and a few graphic T-shirts. Finishing touches are dedicated to the bottoms/pants that are a part of the capsule such as loose-fit light-wash jeans, relaxed workwear-style pants, cropped chinos, camo pants, abstract cartoon flower pants and soft corduroys.
