Luxury timepiece powerhouse Audemars Piguet establishes their elegant approach for 2024 with a design collaboration with fashion designer Tamara Ralph. Fueling the concept is the Royal Oak concept for the Flying Tourbillon time-teller.
Serving as the meshing of Haute Horlogerie and High Couture, the timepiece was recently debuted at Ralph’s Spring/Summer 2024 Paris walkway this past week. The watch’s appearance is a full embodiment of Audemars’ technical advances as well as detail to design while paying homage to Ralph’s feminine accents with elegant and bold aesthetics. The 18-karat pink gold cast leads the design which also features a multi-layered dial in varying tones of brown, bronze, and gold. Brilliant placed at the 6 o’clock dial is the flying tourbillon mimicking a cage that consists of 4 overlapping circular pink gold plates.
For the smooth technical touches from AP is the Calibre 2964, a hand-wound movement made up of 207 parts, 17 jewels and a power reserve of 72 hours.
The Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon “Tamara Ralph” Limited Edition is released in an exclusive run of 100 examples and is now open for inquiry via Audemars Piguet.
