Music| Kendrick Lamar Releases “Watch The Party Die” Fresh From Superbowl Announcement

With the recent announcement of the Superbowl Performer being Kendrick Lamar and the hysterical response via the ineternet, K.dot took this time to release new music and well … take some shots at a few fellow artists.

In his freshly released single “Watch The Party Die”, Kendrick returns to us with the same sinister energy he took into the recent rap battle between Kendrick and Drake. The five-minute record is on the back of this year’s largest single release “Not Like Us”, which was a direct and lasting shot at the Toronto rapper. The summer anthem has maintained momentum but with recent talks around the Superbowl Halftime choice, Kenny brilliantly took advantage of the topic section.

‘Watch the Party Die’ which has yet to be officially released, was debuted to the world via K.Dot’s social media with the cover art being a pair of worn black Air Force 1s. As a fashion based blog, the worn down Air Force’s can only mean one thing coming from a Compton Rapper like Kendrick, that he is back in action and ready for war! Those sentiments are also formulated from the aggressive lyrics adorning this cinematic production. Kendrick Lamar seems to not let his foot off the neck of Drake and any rapper challenging him as the song pinpoints Kendrick’s intent to change the game forever and get rid of those who are poisoning the Hip-Hop experience.

As we wait for the official release of ‘Watch The Party Die’, Take a Listen above!
