Growing indie watch brand Studio Underd0g continues to make great impressions and has now teamed with Wristcheck for a limited-series release. Wittily named “The Uneggspected Series“, the capsule collection offers three iterations of the brand’s Generation 3 01SERIES chronographs. Each variant hosts a unique colorway that plays perfectly into the quirky theme.
Maintaining the playful concept, the three offerings from the series are brilliantly named B0iled Egg, Fried Egg and R0tten Egg which plays into the color choice and features on each. The B0iled Egg is presented with a yellow textured dial with subtly darkened edges and finished with a white outer ring. The Fried Egg features a light yellow fumé dial but is framed with a light-yellow chapter ring instead. The R0tten Egg highlights the name through a lime-green color palette, with the outside of the dial featuring a pale off-yellow tone with brownish accents.
Each variant is released in a 38.5mm stainless steel case that is 12.9mm thick, which showcases a slimmer body compared to their predecessor.
The B0iled Egg and Fried Egg watches are in a limited run of 200 units each, while the R0tten Egg has even more limited availability, with only 90 examples made. All variants are priced at $800 USD and are now available to order through Wristcheck.
