“UY Scuti” is the official name of the upcoming album from Young Thug, whom fans have patiently waited to hear from and have long speculated to this time period of April 16, which has been a signature date for Thug in the past. Both Barter 6, and Slime Language 2 mixtapes released on this day in 2016 and 2021 and maintaining the tradition, Thug officially went to socials to announce the upcoming release.
The project, which is named after a supergiant red star, has been rumored for a while but debuted en route to Coachella sharing a release date of May 2025 in the corner. Shared on Thug’s socials along with the caption “It’s time. Red planet,” was the images of the official LP and merch intended for the release as well.
Most details – including an official release date, remain silent at the moment but stay tuned for updates.
