San Diego’s own, Chancy (Formally Chancy R.) has returned from his last West Coast inspired single ‘Day Party (W.C.D.P)‘ with a new buzzing West Coast anthem dubbed “Dog N Me” featuring fellow California crooner John Givez.
The tandem hit the studio to develop what is a thriving West Coast record that was structured by the brilliant production of yet another California talent by the name Cap Slaps. This trio produced what is arguably the most ‘ON Time’ single of the summer with Dog N Me. Paying homage to the Snoop Dogg inspired aesthetic, the production delivers all the idealistic music notes of what we know to be the West Coast sound. Lyrically, the two vocalist present an anthem for Summer flings and good vibe intentions minus all the headaches. Chancy and John offer up an amazing back-to-back display of engulfing writing and enticing vocal ranging.
With the West Coast buzzing from the notable Kendrick Lamar rap battle victory, this newly released single is in tone and on time to represent the West Coast. Taking this momentum moment to his advantage, Chancy is gearing up for his debut project title “Somebodies Son’ expected later this year. ‘Dog N Me’ is the official second single and raises the intended sound for the upcoming album with Chancy’s already thriving single ‘Fall Apart‘.
