Debuting with what is Tay’s first studio single of the year, “FLAME” is a great unveiling of Tayler’s vocal range, writing ability and conceptual design as she offers a video along with the release. The Seige Monstracity and Quintin Q Gulledge produced record is a brief ballad from Tayler that speaks on the feeling that her relationships flame is slowly dying out. Aiding the single release, Tayler Green recruits Donavan Johnson to assist in designing the perfect visual concept for this record. On what seems to be intended for a romantic time, Tayler and her partner take to the quaint forest landscapes for an intimate camping get-a-way but in-turn becomes more of the opposite. That ‘FLAME’ that kept them so close seems to be deeming with the continuation of miniscule arguments and heated back and forths. The lyrics and angelic vocals brilliantly lay out the frustration one feels when giving into a romantic exchange, but the attention and consideration is not reciprocated. The video leads into the result of a falling flame, which Tayler brilliant showcases her previously recorded song “Lost Boy“.
